Questions and answers are so often lost People and places so often tossed Lies and truth and all other matter cost Far to much for attention to be not. Why do we escape to words? Why do we play? Why do we ignore what could never be attended to by our own instinctual beings? What is the point? What is the sense. To Live is Christ, to die is gain. Grinding and grinding, that's all we feel is grinding Never wanting what would seem A field of softer, flowered green Only without, and boy how mean To steal and tear and blow What man would call unclean This world isn't real How could it be? Once upon a time I was invited to be a member of something known as a brain trust. I didn't watch scrubs at the time so I had no idea what everyone was referring to, but hey I accepted the invite. Then I was invited to an accountabilibuddy group so that I could be accountabilibuddable. Then I was invited to be in a Bible study, but I was already in the Study with members from the accountabilibuddy grouping along with a member of the former, but still active brain trust. So you might say I was all at once made to serve and reserve, be accountable, buddy-able, and reliabilibuddiable. Now here's where it gets really confusing to me, because i
